Irony Alert! Obama at Minnesota Town Hall Event
As I write this the President is in Minnesota giving a “Town Hall” campaign speech. As usual he is lying about Americans. In particular, Americans on the right who believe in small government and states’ rights. He is claiming we believe government is bad, that we are some kind of anarchists that advocate for chaos in the streets and mob rule. The President says government is only bad if its oppressive and doesn’t listen to the people or their wishes (Obamacare, anyone?). He says government is bad if it stifles small business with impossible regulations (Obamacare, anyone?). The President thinks that government that treats its customers (uh, customers?) poorly, rudely, and makes them wait in long, pointless lines for essential services is bad (Obamacare, DMV, Health & Human Services, IRS, anyone?). Yes, says the President, when government manifests itself in those ways, it can be bad. He sees absolutely no irony or humor in the fact that he has just described his own administration. Which is why we on the right will continue to work to vote Barrack Hussein Obama out of office – because his government is Big Government, and wanting small government doesn’t make one an anarchist, it makes one a supporter of freedom.
I’ve stopped listening. He is good at ‘speaking’ that’s it. The only thing that stoodout to me was the line he stole from First Blood. He said he talks to soldiers returning home and they say they are in charge of millions of $s worth of equipment overseas then come home and can’t find a job. That is straight out of the end of First Blood. The guy doesn’t have an original/sincere bone in his body.
I disagree and I have disagreed since Obama came on the national scene. he is *not* a good speaker – even with his teleprompters he doesn’t do well. I grew up around good orators, I grew up listening to people spin a message without the use of anything. Obama sucks as a speaker and always has. I never understood why people give him credit for it – heck I’d rate Jimmy Carter higher than Obama on the “Speaking” scale.
I bet there isn’t as many people at that town hall as there would’ve been in 2008…
‘Anybody but Obama’?? Hell, I’d take skunk roadkill over Obama!
